"While the new device will provide a choice in OS to new and existing customers..."

From the quote above, I guess we can order Priv with Android installed or BB10 installed. So the question comes:

Can we switch OS later? (that would be great)

Or more importantly, can I install BlackBerry version of Android on my Passport to give it a try? (that would be fantastic!)

They didn't mean that we will get a choice in OS. They are offering a different OS for users that want it. Someone please explain better

You probably already know the answer, but for those don't, as clarified by Bla1ze, that was a poorly worded sentence, and there is no BB10 option for the Priv.

The only choice you get is:
    1. The Android Priv
    2. BB10 on existing devices.

This... The choice he meant is you can now choose between Android (Priv) or BB10 (already existing phones), you won't have choice within the priv.

Let's see how the priv does, maybe down the line they end up releasing a BB10 version later. HTC ONE M8 launched with android, and a few months later they launched a Windows Phone version of the exact same device

This is what I expect. If it does well they'll launch a BB10 version.
