How does the Blackberry priv calendar get backed up? If I do a factory reset I assume this data will be wiped clean. How do I get it back? The back up reset option is on but from what I can figure only Google Apps data get backed up.

If you only use a local calendar, it won't get backed up.

You have to link it with your Gmail calendar.

The real issue is that calendar on the Priv has no local calendar.

Then there's no problem. If the OP uses Google calendar, it's already backed up

I don't see anything on the Google Calendar to suggest it is linked.

    I'm not sure either.
Go to calendar.google.com in any web browser and see if your google account's calendar events are there like they are on your phone.

And as a tip for others, go to music.google.com, keep.google.com, etc for Google's synced web clients of the apps on your phone.

There is nothing on the Google Calendar.

In that case, you can link it to your Google calendar so it'll be backed up seamlessly and a factory reset will have no effect on it.
