    So Google messenger freezes all the time, and verizon messages don't end up in my hub. What is a good, trustworthy app that will work with the hub, and not freeze?

    I use Yaata. It's great. Has a dark theme and full Hub integration.

    Go to the hub. Click the overflow menu on the top left... settings.... Scroll down to views...BlackBerry Hub...make sure you have whatever you want to see in the hub checked. Text messages is one of the options. Go back to Verizon messages. Works great for me.

    Ive been using textra since January. It's great! I like the dark theme and the regular updates.

    love Verizon's sms app but for some reason when I get a group chat text with pics, the text shows up but will not open using hub. Anyone else have issues? try it...

    Does anyone know of text/SMS app for Priv that allows you to opt out of a mind-numbing group text? The Appleseeds in my family say their native i-phone SMS app will allow them to drop out of a group chats at their choosing. I missed that feature in the otherwise great BB10 native text app.

    They should show up, but the read/unread flag doesn't work. I told Textra devs, and they basically told me they don't care and we're "surprised to learn BlackBerry still existed"

    The only SMS apps that work flawlessly with Hub are Google Messenger, Yaata and Verizon Messages. End of story.

    What the heck? The phone has no native ability to receive text messages?! So unless you download an app, if someone sends you a text it just doesn't arrive? That is ridiculous!
