Branded QNX not BlackBerry.. just so that the public would actually give it a chance.

QHD 5.4 inch edge amoled screen, 3gb, snapdragon 808, 18mpx rear, 5mpx front, touch capacitive 4 row slide out keyboard, 64-bit optimised QNX OS (rebranded BB10.4) with a "android M hypervisor" mode which activates anytime an android app is used so it performs like on a native android, and has options on having google play services and Google playstore from the get go.

with a price of USD600

Markets it to be the world most secure phone in the world with none of the limitations. Secusmart call and data encryption tech built in as well as movirtu virtual sim and watchdog cloud services.

Will this impress the public and save BlackBerry's hardware division?

Haha...that price and those specs have a giant gaping chasm between them. That's an $800-850 device.

AMOLED sucks, pass on that. Pass on capacative double typing keyboard, just put the problem-free Q5 keyboard on it.

Also rebranding is just window-dressing and pointless, as discussed in the rebrand thread in the other forum. But that doesn't cost anything so I guess call it what you want...it will still be a BlackBerry to me, and to anyone with a brain.

I'd rather it have the 810 or if possible 820. After using the xperia z4 tablet, there's nothing that really comes close to its performance other than the s6.

How's the overheating issue? I heard Sony warned people in Japanese retail stores that their devices using 810 may heat up... a lot
