Today is the 7th. Anyone know if AT&T will push an update today?

I think they said some carriers will start to push the update, that is all depended on how long the carrier takes to test the update before pushing it out to the consumer. Its a waiting game at this moment.

Agree and good morning. Nothing from the Midwest yet. My phone is running hot and looses Play Services, battery life, and launcher. I was told by AT&T to try the update first before returning device. Fingers crossed

According to an online inquiry last week that I had with AT&T I was told they would release the update today.

I am skeptical so when I see it come through I will believe it.

I checked for the update. Said I was up to date (no new update yet). Also said I may check again in 23 hours and 59 mins. So does that mean that if an update is actually pushed to my phone, I'll have to wait until the alloted time?

Android limits the times you can check for an update. Wow. I guess I see why, but still.

Limits the times to 'check' for an update? I must be missing something but that makes absolutely no sense at all.

If you search for ATT device os update they have a Web page that tells you if an update is available yet.

I remember all I had to do was manually set date for the next day to bypass the "you may check again in 24 hours for update".granted this was a couple years ago on my note3,but it worked.just turn off automatic time and set date for tomorrow!

It will be nice if someone grabs a signed update and uploads it. As long as it's signed and an att update there should be nothing to prevent us from installing it via the phones sdcard.

Once you check for an update, it tells you that you must wait 23 hours and 59 minutes before you can check again. If you try again, it will continue to tell you how long you must wait until you can check again.

I just had a conversation with AT&T and I was told they were having "their experts" test the maintenance release before releasing it to their customers. Yet again we AT&T customers and more importantly BlackBerry device owners are being treated like a red headed stepchild.

Edit: And this information I got today contradicts what I was told last week by AT&T when they confirmed it would be released today...December 7. Typical AT&T BS and spin!!!

Wow really? Not even recovery mode? I know my nexus 5 could do a signed update via stock recovery even with the bootloader locked. Flashing anything else required an unlocked bootloader and custom recovery. I guess BlackBerry really took security even more serious than i thought. Thanks for the info masterscarhead.

From what I was just informed via email exchanges with an individual with BlackBerry they are currently working with AT&T to hopefully get this released this week.

No doubt the "experts" with AT&T know more than the tech's with BlackBerry...😁
