Lucky iPhone 6 owners - Apple have reduced the replacement battery cost to £21/$29.
Would be good to see BlackBerry doing similar!

BlackBerry is charging you $729 for the service, and they named it "screw you, buy a KEYone".

Found batteries, 3360mah, on Aliexpress, China for around $20. Are you happy with your battery and does it have any particular markings that might be on others?

    Hey people,
How's the battery life on #Priv

I am having some serious battery related issues with my BlackBerry Q10
I am thinking of buying a New #Priv

    Should I, or shouldn't I ??
It seems a good choice for the amount of money.

No man, Priv is in EOL. It will not be receiving anymore officially any security patch either.

Aside from the lack of patches, the Priv's current price makes it an amazing deal. There are some as low as 211€ brand new on ebay. It's the only slider out there, which is why it's worth considering. The DTEK's are absolutely pointless to buy at this point of course though.

I think you have a couple years of life left in the Priv, and at the price they are at now, they're a steal. Great phone

The priv is end of life. I know its cheaper but why buy a phone that is already dead? Pony up and get something that will be updated with new features, better battery and better security.

I would hardly say it's dead. It's my daily driver. I use it for work, and I do all the major social media with it.
