it should be setup as imap... How to set up your iCloud email account on Android | Android Central
I have done that. Also the Gmail app. Have both in hub. It does Not work. Now both are in mail app. Both work with out a problem. Problem is with Hub app. Actually quite a bad thing the have the Gmail app work better than the hub. I hope BlackBerry updates this quickly.

So I have figured out the problem. I was on with a BlackBerry second tier person for a few hours. We trouble shooted the problem. It is a combination of a problem with the content transfer app and syncing email for forever. There is likely a major bug with the app.
After wiping the device and then updating all the BlackBerry apps prior to adding account to the hub it started to work properly.
Also, on some occasions the bug reporter would suddenly go away if you pressed and help to power button. Also, the android device manager was not functioning well as I could not log in via Google.
Hopefully this helps others.
