My Blackberry Priv maintains good connection despite the signal strength indicator which fluctuates sometimes between almost zero bars and five bars. I have been streaming radio all day without a hiccup. The battery charge indicates 51% after 10 hours of non-stop streaming and occasional other use to troubleshoot issues reported in the forum.

Yeah, it's not staying connected at all. It's not the router because my old trusty Z10 had no issue being connected to get WiFi.

I had a phone- mightve been the HTC one m8- that had a setting that turned off WIFI when the phone was locked and back on when unlocked again- it often failed to do so though or at least not properly. Might be worth seeing if a similar setting is on by default on the Priv.

Not having any trouble with the 2 here. Delete your wi-fi, try adding again, reboot phone and try resetting your modem. If you haven't already tried.

Mine has been connected to my WiFi since I got it home, zero issues. Works great and no heat at all. I've been watching HNIC for hours and it's not even warm.
