I hate vkbs. But after 11 months of owning a priv, at this point I have found I am just to lazy to open the pkb each time. Anyone else ?

I use my PKB almost exclusively... just a simple effortless flip with my thumb and there it is. What's so difficult about that?

I rarely use my VKB and if I do its only for a Google search or a very short message reply.

I have a good mix of use going. If I'm texting or on BBM or social media, VKB is fine. But if I'm writing a post or email, can't beat the PKB.

I use the PKB 98% of the time. The effort to slide the screen up is 2nd nature.

I guess I need to work on my laziness if I truly want the pkb advantage, cuz I can't afford K1 right now. I am curious if you guys were torch users. I for one, never owned a slider until priv.

A quick response I don't slide the keyboard out but if I am having to respond to a bunch of texts or typing an email I use the keyboard. Searching on the web I use the keyboard mainly for the browser scrolling.

Hate typing on glass. Love the real keyboard, and have a speed dial or app shortcut assigned to nearly every key. That being said, my next device might be an S8, but that's a whole other topic.

Not so much out of laziness. I just don't see the point in one extra step when the on-screen keyboard is amazing. It's the reason I'm not sure about getting a KEYone. I love swiping in words and not having to physically press down keys.

This is my first (out of 5 or 6) pkb Blackberry. I didn't think I'd use the pkb very often but once I got it, I made an effort to try. Now I rarely use the vkb & when I do, my typing is full of mistakes. And I never thought I could do without the vkb flick typing.

I can't win! I love the physical keyboard too! It's kind of why I went with the Priv. The only reason I'm contemplating a new phone is because it's getting ridiculously laggy.

I miss my old Bold 9900. That thing was a beast.

Nope. I only use it for quick word searches. I never even typed a full sentence with the vkb.

Whenever I wanted to type any messages or write a lengthy document with my BlackBerry PRIV the physical keyboard was the only way. I recently bought a BlackBerry KEYone so the BlackBerry PRIV is now my backup smartphone.

Maybe 2% of the time, when it was new. Still have my Z10 so used to the glass typing.

When I get a keyone, I won't sell my priv either. It would be the perfect backup phone. It's not always about the money.

I'm using the PKB so much these days that I've practicality forgot how to use the VKB. I used to be good on a VKB, not anymore. Lol
