Can you do a speed test comparison?
The number of bars is only a problem if you drop calls or get slow data

A few posts like this already and I put one out too. My bars are down but I've never dropped a call. Service is the same, just bars not showing as strong as my other phones. Not sure what's going on.

Try the speedtest app on it and see if you are getting the same speeds as another device in the same location

Don't compare based on graphical bars. Look at the real data. You can download an app for both phones - Advanced Signal Status. Screen shot of Priv and Passport.

Ah, so they need an Apple-esque 'fix'.

    Adjust the accuracy the 'bars'.

Thanks... finally a "scientific" comparison.... Frankly I am getting tired of the posts that based everything on impressions or feeling... those are SUBJECTIVE!!

Like others already said: give a sh..t about the bars, actual call quality and data speed is what counts. On my Passport I sometimes have full bars, but I am not able to load a web page. So what use are the bars if they show a signal strength you are not able to use?
