If this is true, if it's really true that it runs Android this will be the best PKB Android phone since the Motorola Droid 3. I am really looking forward to IFA Berlin which starts on September 4th btw.

If it's android without BlackBerry skin or gestures than i might buy a few more passports.

I like the app's and customization in android but the freaking buttons and 'active app pages' are things that i do hate about it

Same here. I'd buy another Z30 and a couple Passports.

Nexus & all other OEM Droids have that clunky 'app switcher'...

One thing I forgot to say is that there are no active frames. Task switching works like it does in Android. The screen has the typical Android buttons.

I think that Oslo will have better specs than the current passport. But totally unconfirmed for the moment.

These rumors are disappointing to me. There's no fancy Passport-style keyboard. There are no BB10 active frames. There are no BB10-style gestures.

The lack of a BB10 skin and functional similarities is leading me to believe I should pick up the Passport and maybe a Classic. I trust my Z30 will last as its been babied for the most part.

Disappointed, BlackBerry had a chance to do something special here. I know it rumours but the leaked animated images have thus far been true in almost all cases.

They should have a limited edition slider running BB10 as a grand finale. I'm really starting to believe this is the end of BB10 at least on the consumer front.

Apparently according to Dylan H, the build quality will be similar to that of the Leap and not the SE Passport.

.....your shi tting me. Imo the Z30 has easily the best build of all BB10 devices. Was hoping this would have been more in line with that being a flagship and all.

So the guy on reddit if he did play with the phone was just making up some of the info at least, like saying BlackBerry released the SE to test some components lol.. it's BlackBerry we talking after all why would they bother with such QC lol.

Personally I haven't held a Leap, or any of the passports so can't comment on those but I personally love the Z30's build. And also to tear it down and replace the battery is easy (eventhough a replaceable battery is something I'd love to have back on the BlackBerry) but again we talking about BlackBerry they don't listen

Will it have lock screen notifications?
    What about BlackBerry Travel?

Also, if there is a hub on this android slider, how will it contain 3rd party apps like whatsapp , Blaq, etc. Don't the apps have to be "wired specifically" to be accessed via the hub? I doubt the android devs are gonna start adding this to their apps....

The fact that android can't do something as simple as playing a youtube video while your phone is in standby, a different tab, or an app just proves how further ahead bb1 is

You'd be surprised what you can do with android. Yes, the note line does a decent job at multitasking. Here's me watching a YouTube video while browsing the crackberry forums.

I know android isn't perfect but it's very capable. Just thought I'd share.

Also the ability to take photo sphere pictures is awesome.

I think I said it before, but the launcher that ships with the Venice ("Blackberry Launcher", which is listed) is basically a modified Google Now Launcher that includes the BlackBerry Hub.

So basically, though we don't have the peek function, we at least still have the ability to access the hub from homescreen. That's good. Though I have grown to like the active frame system. Maybe Blackberry could add a task manager widget that allows us to use the frames.
