This device will either be a spectacular success or a spectacular failure. It does look like BlackBerry is going all out on trying to make the Slider look like the Galaxy S6 Edge, and that is indeed a gamble.

Does it have a removable back and battery?

I'm guessing the keyboard touch-sensitive like the Passport is? How when you drag your thumb across it, it scrolls on the screen.

I'm assuming that the button on the left side of the device is where the power button is? Just curious because the Passport and the Classic had the power button on the top of the device.

I'm also curious whether or not radio still doesn't work without headphones as an antennae.

Was it running on any particular carrier?

Is that the Android back button taking up all that space at the bottom?
Honestly, I wonder if the phone is at the set up screen and that's why there's only the back button. Maybe once you actually set the phone up you'll have your home, back, and recent apps button.

    Anyways, I'm excited for this!

That giant bar with the tiny back button looks absolutely hideous. That bar should also float above the virtual keyboard like BB10. Compare that with the screenshots showing the bar with the back button above for BB10 which looks fantastic. BlackBerry needs to make Android look and feel like BB10 as much as possible, because I'm not keen on regression of the OS user experience just for Google Play Services.

if they're going to make two versions, at least make the BlackBerry 10 one without a curved screen. I'd be on top of that like white on rice.

have the android slider look like the s6 edge and the BlackBerry Zlider like a thin Z30 with a slide out kb.

Hideous VKB. If they ditch BB10 I ditch BlackBerry. That VKB looks just as bad as all the other Android implementations I've seen. Yuck!

I just don't understand why if you held the phone in your hands you didn't do the first LOGICAL thing that 99.9999% of us would do and is to open the pkb to "at least " take a look at it,sorry but that doesn't make any sense to me.

Well on a passport you get a max. of 3 words and in a vkb you get up to 5-6.
