Yes!! I've been reading online that the launcher is the problem and that others have had success changing the launcher application. Only problem is the "force stop" option on my priv is faded so I can't select it. This solution worked for people on Galaxy Nexus. Some also did what you said earlier. They managed applications and moved apps to SD.

    Argh!! So frustrating.

That's because the launcher is set as a device administrator by default.
Settings / Security / Device administrators

Deactivate the launcher from there, and the option of Force Stop will not be faded anymore. But you will want to Clear Data, not Force Stop.

Then go to: Settings / Apps / BlackBerry Launcher and click on Storage, then click CLEAR DATA.

After that, you can activate the launcher as a device administrator again.

Ticketing with the blackberry launcher like mad. Maybe a factory reset is my only option. *sigh*

CLEAR DATA of the launcher did not work?

The best solution is a factory reset.
    Start from scratch.

Save your data before wiping the device.

Just reporting back that nothing worked. I still have all those Lil green bots notifying me of things. I've decided to live with this a while...until the next OS. A factory reset is a no-no since I'm on a company-owned priv. *sigh*
