BlackBerry is going fully Android with the Slider but not Google-Android, there staying with Amazon and will have the whole Amazon experience with Prime Music and Video similar to the Amazon Fire phone, so people will have possibly 2 choices of the "VENICE" Slider either BB10 or Amazon..

It's not. If BlackBerry goes Android they're going to go official Android with Google Services.

Yeah, that's the old "Blade" concept the design firm Pixelcarve (not BlackBerry) made up back in 2012. And posted about here on Crackberry in March of that year before the first BB10 phones were actually released.

You'll notice that the home screen is BBOS 7, because no one really knew what BB10 was going to look like yet.

I also think it will be Amazon based. Google play is not secure enough for BlackBerry.
Don't forget it's not for consumers but for enterprise to run there android apps on.

Actually out of all the rumours this one sounds the most logical. Just saying.

Is it possible to load Google play services onto Fire Phone?

The fact that it uses a render from years back kind of invalidates this rumor for me.

Yeah you can route the fire phone and put Google services on it. But you won't be able to do that to a BlackBerry android phone. They'll have it locked down.

If BlackBerry decides to go Android... you go pure Google Android. No Amazon or TouchWiz bs. Or don't do it and stay with BlackBerry 10.

    Hi John,
How is any of this off topic? Or did I miss something and a post was deleted?
