    Yes, The thread is 7 months old. No the problem is not fixed for many of us that have AT&T locked phones.

    I should have mentioned that I do know that Blackberry has in their mind fixed the issue. I have it in writing from Blackberry that they have fixed the issue and provided it to AT&T. The problem is AT&T refuses to pass it on to their customers and Blackberry refuses to pass it to us because they say they have passed it to AT&T so it's one big stand off and many of us with AT&T locked phones are the big losers in the deal and neither AT&T nor Blackberry will make it right. Meanwhile my relatives $299 ebay unlocked Priv works fine. Lesson to customers here don't get a carrier locked phone. In the past there may have been better experiences but in today's world you are at a disadvantage.

    On the ATT community board under a similar thread topic I was told by the ATT Community Specialist@:
    "Since you are up to date on the software, I recommend a master reset on the phone. You can find the steps on our Device Support page. Once you reach the page you will want to select the Blackberry PRIV > Tutorials > Troubleshoot > Reset Device. Prior to performing a master reset, you will want to make sure you back up your phone. "

    I'm assuming this means a total reload of apps and settings would be required...with no assurance of a fix?
