I want to upgrade my phone RAM to 8GB.. is it possible :d

Even if it was possible, it's not gonna make the 808 processor any more efficient.

4GB is the highest amount of memory the 808 processor supports so no 8GB isn't possible.

I was thinking it was not real and hence said 8GB . Really surprising to hear this is possible.

4GB is very much okay for classic. Pls provide steps for that.

This thread is for upgrading memory in the PRIV. It's not possible on earlier BlackBerry phones or at least no one has done it.

As someone else said, the original topic is the PRIV which is possible I'm sure but not probable. The modifications are too great and someone else replied would require SOC update as well. I'm not sure if NSA economic resources are required but it definitely would be cheaper to buy another phone off the shelf.

The PRIV upgrade was described in the earlier part of thread. Apparently in this and related threads, it sounds like person operates from storefront and only does service in person.

I suspect confirmation bias. My Priv barely ever goes past 2 gigs of use.

You must be using it only to attend calls.

In fact, no. I've only had my SIM in for less than a day. Sometimes many apps in the background. My WP 950XL has the same 3 gigs and I've never felt it was lagging.
