Currently, work is underway among developers of applications such as: WhatsApp, Viber, LinkedIn, Facebook to integrate their applications into the Hub for PRIV.

It would be great (even though ironic) that the Hub might actually end up more functional/'complete' on Android than it did on BB10.

    BlackBerry 10, Passport signed.

I doubt Facebook is going to let people use it instead of their overnight number one cheated messenger.

Where is that info from, BB?

Being a glass half-empty kind of guy, I interpret that statement as confirming my suspicions that the Priv Hub (shipping on 6th November it seems) *won't* currently support 3rd party apps.

I don't think it's up to BB to support the apps, it's about the app devs supporting the Android hub. But since, so far NO released android phone actually has this hub, I don't expect a lot of apps to offer support for it.

Yes, I agree that it's up to 3rd Party app developers to bring support to the Hub... I said as much a few days back, and was shouted down.

I also said that I didn't see why 3rd Party devs would be bothered to support the Hub. Much as you've said, why would they spend development money/time to support the unreleased Hub on one as yet unreleased device?

    So, we agree, I think.

I think at first there will be some apps, but integrated by BB themselves through public APIs available from the dev.
