    I am trying to recover photo's from my p9983 and q10. But the recovery software cant detect the internal memory mapped as network drive.

    That's the way BB10 works. I'm assuming you have attached your phone to a PC, and Windows is showing you a Y:\ or a Z:\ drive for your internal memory. I know if you also have an SD card, it maps Y for internal and Z for SD card.

    No way around it. Mapping as a network drive is a security feature so that permissions can be placed and no other part of the internal memory is accessible. Only the user partition is seen and mapped.

    What "recovery" program are you trying to use? I doubt any PC-based program will be compatible with BB10's proprietary file system.

    Recovery software will work with an SD Card if the device is in USB Mass Storage mode.... and the card isn't encrypted.

    But Internal memory is a different thing... I don't think BBOS or BB10 will offer up full access at the drive level.
