Well, I went ahead and upgraded one of the phones. It was still using a 10.3.2......

Significant decline in battery life, now sometimes three batteries in a day. Hoping things will settle down. Although it has been about 5 days.

Also, it seems the radio/antenna is not as good as it was. When I use the "Rad.io" app for new radio overseas, now much much more buffering and dropping of signal.

What would be recommendations? For example, download a different radio software or reload the entire autoloader?

    Assistance appreciated.

Actually, this is an odd issue . . . Upgraded the other 9983 to the latest software and the keyboard has gone to the dogs, as it were.

Almost all keys are equally unresponsive, require more force to generate response, screen sensitivity is greatly reduced. As no issues existed prior to the update, I assume it is the update.

    Has anyone had similar experiences?

That sounds very odd, I guess it is maybe something to do with preventing double typing, but it could be a hardware problem and just coincidence that you updated at the same time.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, true, could just be coincidence. However, it just somehow seems "intended". Yet, I never ever experienced the double typing on the 9983 as was experienced on the Q.

In any event, will do a complete factory wipe and re-install the update when I am next in a Windows environment.

Thx Conite! Sorry for the late response..

Just downloaded & loaded it to my 9983 2 days ago.. Loaded smooth & succesfully!

Here are some shallow review of my last 3 days usage with the 10.3.3.3216 (for some readers consideration):

So far, I don't find any new tangible feature added.. but I did see major improvement in battery consumption efficiency (as the system consume much less battery resources within a certain duration) - compare to the old 10.3.2.xxx..

The phone now can last within almost 24 hours (for standby state & normal usage - at least for me, different users might face different situation)..

For performance, honestly, still don't feel much different compare to the older OS.. as I just use this device for some basic function..

I didn't find any bugs yet for the almost basic usage, but I don't know in the other area..

Loading back to the system after restarting / shutting down is more faster than the previous one..

Really recommended to upgrade to this OS for some of you that is still using the older one!

    Hope you're still around.
Do you still have that Porsche Design clock after that 10.3.3 autoloader?

The Porsche Clock is in all the OS versions, it looks for the phones pin so only PD phones can display it.

I have two P'9983's on TMO here in Ma with lots of signal everywhere. A month ago I updated (via autoloader) to 10.3.3.3216 but did not fully test out. And of course my newest addition I also autoloaded the same os. Problem is I could not call/recieve calls OTA. Wifi calling was good. I did all the regular troubleshooting with a final System Reset but to no avail. I checked all over the web-no help. I then did a thorough wipe using "Full Erase 2.1" then autoloaded a previous os (10.3.3.2205) to both P'9983"s. Now calling/recieving calls over LTE works perfect. It is evident to me that 10.3.3.3216 is NOT the official (blessed lol) os for the P'9983. But the os 10.3.3.3216 does work on my Q10's.

Wow 70€ is a steal - even for such an older device as it is now a Collectors item. Did you get it with th original packaging?

    For Q10/P9983?

    Autoloader:

    https://mega.nz/file/RJJWTTzT#USoRTN...Bcej8X1VLRT6NU

Download to PC, unzip it, plug in device, run autoloader. Your device will be wiped in the process.

thanks for your help... yes for q10/p9983... barbarianthemadserb says that 10.3.3.3216 doesn't allow for OTA calling when connected to LTE which is exactly the problem I have now with my p9983 at version 10.3.2.2836... So I want to upgrade to 10.3.3.2205 as he says it works, where can I find a live file?

Check with 10.3.3.3216 first. It might depend on your location. You can try the 2205 radio after if it doesn't work.
