Well, you spent a bunch of money for some cosmetics. In reality its the same as a Q10 which you can buy for $100 or so.

Hehe yes in that sense I understand you.. but let's just not think about it in that like that. Normally the phones cost over 2000 USD so I got it at good prize.

Considering loads of shops still don't have them available and you saved $800 on a phone, yes you did make a pretty good deal.

I saw it on the Internet on a danish website similar to ebay. Where you sell things just without bidding. And this guy here had put it online for sale, contacted him, he had received the phone as a gift from a friend in Hong Kong who is a professionel car racing driver.

But this guy who received it as a gift had no idea how to use a blackberry, he was an iphone guy. He had it for like 3 month without knowing what to do with it. So he decided to sell it. He actually didn't loose anything on this price because he never gave anything for it in the first place

In general, that's a great deal for 9983, ja.

Only thing to be aware of are the different radio bands for different regions around the world. Hopefully whichever one you got is compatible with bands in your region and you're not stuck on 3G, etc.

Use your savings on some of the leather backs. The included "glass weave" back is shiny fingerprint-grabbing crap, phone looks MUCH better with the leather.

Okay about the different bands.. I haven't checked mine yet with a sim card.. I will do it today.. it came from Hong Kong, and I'm in denmark! So I hope I'm lucky!

So funny how there is a lot of hate for people spending money on the 9983. Personally, I don't care. To answer the OP question, yes, that is a good deal.
