Pretty much like today but without all the waste of space and lack of power.

I also own a Z30 with the Blackberry battery door with built- in leather cover, and when I put my 9982 on tap of the Z30, the glass plate of current 9982 is already larger than the active part of the Z30 5" screen. That was when I realized making a much, much better PD Version would actually be very easy. Simply add 1-2 mm physical width, use Z30 instead of Z10 components, extend the leather to form a built in leather frontcover and voila, a much better product with much better battery life.

Comments? Anyone up for making a rendered picture?

A P'9982 with the Z10's PPI and Z30's Natural Sound and battery life is definitely something.

I personally would have preferred a keyboard based successor for the P'9981, but when it comes to touch devices I've always found the size of my Z10 perfect.
Absolutely agree on the specs as they are often what people finally draws away from this beautiful device.
