    The same happened to me some 6 months ago, at a time I had free access to PB support. Absolutely no way short of fully resetting the machine (or living without wifi sharing). Atrocious. "Blackberry is aware of the issue" was all I was told.
    Now my story is 6 months old: it may be the latest sys update solved it --but I doubt.
    Maybe BB10 will...

    wow. on reading this, I don't think I want to password my wifi file access anymore if there is no way to restore it.
