Why wouldn't RIM want to let the full power of the PB get unleashed? (besides AppMarket, and sideloading free app)

Imagine all the the great apps that could be made for the PB?

If I were RIM, having Windows on my *** for the 3rd spot, I would make my products as user friendly, and customizable as possbile.

What is so wrong with having Super User access?
