Last night, I was checking BLAQ and FACEBOOK on my PlayBook. All of a sudden, the gestures stopped working (first some, then all), then the hole PlayBook shut off and wouldn't turn on, despite pressing the power supply.

I was able to resurrect it later by plugging it into the computer, which seemed to cause it to reboot.

Any idea what would have caused that???

Despite some specific issues with the broswer and a few apps, this is the first time I can thing of the PlayBook itself hanging in the 14 months I've had it.

Maybe the battery is dead.

The battery was charged at 84%. It came back to life when plugged into the computer, rebooted and ejected and is now working fine. But it was weird. The gestures failed, then it shut down and turned off to no response.
