Hi

I downloaded OS 2.0 (originally had 1.0.8 installed) and after download PB wanted to restart so I clicked restart....

Now PB is stuck and just displays 'Blackberry Playbook' and the background color changes ...but nothing happens....I left it for a few hours but still no luck....I tried restarting it but when it boots up it's still stuck on the same page...

I tried to connect it to Device manager 7 and reset it to factory setting or downgrade the OS but Device Manager deosn't recognize the device.

Please help...what should I do now?

I could not get desktop 7 to sync reliabley... You can still download 6 if you google it.... Does the unit actually shut off totally????

Hi, my PlayBook did the same thing froze on restart...
I held the power button down to force it to turn off completely then restarted my PlayBook.. This worked for mine, good luck

Yes as above make sure the tablet is off and your DM is open when you attach it to do a derrick.
