It is possible. However, apps that appear on the homescreen are launched with 'secure-launcher' which first checks that the app is signed (as a bar) correctly.
I'm thinking of including an .apk side-loader in Dingleberry.
That is, no need to repackage as a .bar.
To do so, I either need to:
1) Work out a way to launch via a browser link (no sig-checks); or
2) Override secure-launcher; or
3) Work out a way to run unsigned apps; or
4) Craft a debug token which is used to sign apks on-device, post-install.
All of these are possible.
So there is no current way to do it?
If anyone could show me a tutorial that would be great.
Love your work xsacha,
I believe quite a few of us with less concern for security would love the ability to directly side-load apps either through debug tokens or removal of security restrictions.
Thanks broooooooooooooooooo
God info to know xsacha :)
