Just wanted to show support for this alarm app, by Turner TeK'. Its simply one of my favorite apps on my PLaybook. It tells you the time, and weather aloud, plus, it shows you news Headlines, has a radio that you can choose to wake up to almost any artists music, and Live traffic conditions on google map! Also, did I mention it was Free??
When it awakes you, and you hit the off button, by speaking, it tells you the time, date, and weather conditions. What a way to wake up. Its a cool app. I'm in no way affiliated with the Dev's, I just wanted to help expose this cool app to fellow Playbook owners.
I hope they can make another paid version with custom news feeds from websites like CNN, AP, or maybe Twitter ect ect..
I tried the app..but it seemed glitchy. The weather and news updates constantly flashed..so I uninstalled it.
it seems to use a lot of mem off course I can't confirm. unfortunately there isn't a better app in the time being. i think alarm clock xtreme paid version for android is the best.
This could be a really dumb question... but will the app run automatically when the alarm is supposed to go off? or does the app need to be open before I go to bed? Can i put the playbook in standby and expect to be woken up?
I tried it out last night and just had my playbook on all night as well as the app... worked well. Very space aged with the voice telling you the time and weather. I like that haha. Thanks!
