My contacts are not in gmail on in other server. It's possible sync from my Bold 9700 to playbook directly?

If it's not possible, how i can sync with gmail? Last year i use gmail sync, but it was a disaster...

I used gmail sync, worked well. Give it another shot. Its cool too see all of you contacts on the PB

After I configured my gmail account and setup sync with gmail account only.
but nothing happened.

but after I connected with BB 9700 bold via Bluetooth (bridged). and I saw the contacts are all there on the PB. not sure how it happened. but they are all there.
