    Time Warner has a new service to be able to watch live any tv channels that are available on your cable contact
    They require the Silverlight plugin for your browser.

    Is there any PB browser, app or plugin available that supports Silverlight?

    Do they support Flash? Flash works, I have used a few sites with the Chrome browser and just hit play with Flash on my pc (PB does not support Chrome or Silverlight.

    I tried to convert and sideload Chrome, but no workie. Tried it a few times, sometimes you have to bulldog things to get them to fly......

    Silverlight isn't supported on PB, if it was we'd be able to watch Netflix etc. as well. However, Silverlight is pretty much dead (it's still being used, but I believe development has ceased...although perhaps I'm wrong on that), and companies such as Netflix are looking at alternative methods (e.g. HTML5 video with a javascript DRM implementation).

    I am sorry to say, some vendors feel Silverlight is viable (not dead);
    Time Warner recently started their TV on PC beta service using it.

    Like I said, it is still being used; that's because there isn't another viable replacement yet (i.e. a streaming video solution with uncracked DRM). Content creators insist on there being DRM (although screen recording software can record the shows despite the DRM protection), so they can't just switch to DRM-free HTML5 video or whatever.
