Does doing a security wipe kills or take away your playbook memory ? i did a security wipe on my 16GB and it took it down to 14GB?

No, it should not change the memory - the OS will be reloaded.

um your 16gb playbook technically was never 16gb to begin with. and as stated above it would wipe all data off the playbook so most likely you have more free space then you had previous to the security wipe.
