Apparently there's an update coming at some point next week. It's going to be primarily a bug fix update with a few enhancements. This is by no means going to put us all back at the same version, but it's nice to see that the production OS is still being tweaked.
If you only have one Playbook, you're going to have to get used to backing out of 2.0.x if you want to check this out.
Yes. I was at one of the Innovation Forum events and asked at the end if/when we'd see an update prior to 2.0. I was told by two RIM people that we'd be getting an update sometime next week.
Must be why we got a bridge update today! I hope, some bug fixes would be welcome.
Maybe. But I think the bridge update today was to bridge the gap between the 1.x bridge and the 2.x beta bridge. This way, one bridge bridges all. That's a lot of bridges. As far as next week goes, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

True dat! Not getting my hopes up too much. Except for the bridge update before this one there was an OS update that followed.

This is the funniest post I've read in a while... light hearted, good natured, and humorous. Refreshing really, a midst all the RIM bashing, and blind fan boyism...
