I bought my playbook a couple of weeks ago, and as soon as I set it up, I updated the OS to version 2. Last night I decided to stick some music on and loaded up the Desktop Manager on my laptop. I was surprised that DM reported my PlayBook having OS 1.0 installed and that there was an update available.
Has anyone else had this issue that DM was reporting the OS was incorrect, yet the Playbook had infact the correct v2.0 already installed?
I had that happen to me when I first updated to OS2 on my PB. Remove the Device in desktop manager. Unplug your PB from the computer, run desktop manager, click on Device --> Forget Device. Now replug your PB and see what DM shows.
