They might not be able to do that, beings they are already in the middle of the upgrade? Hopefully the op did that already.

True if that messed things up. Perhaps plugging in while on would offer the non destructive update?

that's not gonna get your Android back I'm afraid so don't waste your time.

I ended up doing a backup then wipe. It got stuck on the set-up so hooked up to DM. Did the turn off and turn back on routine and it completely reloaded .840. Now everything including the android stuff is working I think they have made some changes to .840?

Anybody can confirm about released PB OS 2.1.0.840. Its official or not? because some people doesn`t show this upgrade. I am in Spain. But LATAM users don`t show that.

I was gonna post something about this if there wasn't already a thread going. It was a full update for me as well and I was hoping it would fix the issues I've been having since I got the last beta. Some of the apps that used to work don't anymore and I still can't sideload anything like I was before I went beta.

I "heard" that after the 1mb update someone was able to wipe and reload the OS using DM. No cfp needed.

Yes, there have been people that have said this, me included. There are no issues anymore as it is no longer blacklisted with the 1MB update...

Since this mornings 1mb update i have seen new placeholders for the page up down and close buttons see screen shot . Nice improvement. But why ?

I got the 1mb update for my 2.1.0.840 .. It is a carrier_data update for me atleast..

All is well with the world again on my PB. Download about a 305mb .840 this morning and all is working again.

Same here, I just ran the 1mb update and sys.data.carrier_data was updated from 2.0.1.80 to 2.0.1.188.

Just got the 1mb update. Going to wait and see what people say before installing it. I'm running 2.1.0.840 beta now and everything is working so I'm afraid to update.

update has no effect on beta. working fine before and after. Even sideloaded some apps. All good
