Hi, to make it very short I think the playbook is great as a reader, and maybe could benefit from applying os-wide some of the features we see on lower tech e-ink readers.
I often have to read texts in foreign languages, some of which I don't understand perfectly. I would greatly enjoy a dictionary feature that would be available for all apps, just like the change of language for the keyboard presently is.
Imho, it wouldn't be that hard to implement, since linguistic features are already there, and the os already detects text as text, as far as I understand.
That would also realize a better economy for providers, since they wouldn't have to multiply dictionaries disk space if needed.
