Good article, albeit old news (since earnings call anyway). First time I heard BB articulate it's end-of-life plan for BB7 though. Looks like they have a year or so to convince most people the 10 is better.

CrackBerry has reported on the news not being accurate. BBOS7 will be supported indefinitely. Regarding the DeadBook we all know BlackBerry screwed up big time. Sad to see an amazing getting tablet killed by BBRY.

I dunno. I still didn't see anything officially EOL-ing PB. Sure, they aren't going to "re-enter the tablet space after the PlayBook".

It was Herr Ketchup that put the bullet into the PlayBook and made inane comments about the future of tablets in general. That being said, my PlayBook is still a workhorse and is not in any way dead to me.

If it was EOL then they wouldn't still be releasing updates to BlackBerry Bridge on OS 10.

I can't wait until the PlayBook 2 is released running OS 10.
