    Hiya
am a newbie as far as playbook is concerned. so be nice.
I have updated to 2.1 and am confused about the Android capabilities of the PB.
Does the improved handling of Android apps mean that I now have access to apps that are available in the android store? If not then does sideloading apps have more benefit under 2.1?
I am mainly interested in getting Skype up and running with video.
As an aside, is there a way to have PB display artwork for movies that I load onto it, rather than a thumbnail.
    many thanks.

Skype will never work. Search the Forums.

Google PLay is not available. Android apps can be sideloaded (once converted .APK to .BAR) or be found in App World.

improved handling of Android apps just means they're not as laggy and run in separate windows so you can swap between them using the PB's excellent multitasking UI. it means you can actually use Android apps as daily drivers, instead of as occasional back ups.
