    The total amount of shipped PlayBooks sits between 2.3M-2.5M. I don't hope Mr. Heins would just abandon all those sold tablets like that.
    Let's see if there could be an answer at BB Live today. Looking forward to hearing something, even if it's a no (though I wouldn't like that!)
    If he announces an update, I'm getting one for sure!

    If I'm not mistaken, BB Live 2013 runs from 14th-16th may

    Edit: Yep, 14th-16th, but Jam Americas was yesterday, so maybe the chance of announcements could be lower today and tomorrow

    They shipped a bit over 2.3 million as of the beginning of March. Given how light inventory now seems to be in the channel, I'd wager most of those are in user's hands now, though who knows how many are in use. I'd say at least two million PLayBook users.

    I would love for them to give an update ... any update.

    Would be nice if he either said,

    a) Sorry, we just didn't find it profitable and can't justify pouring more money into it. Here's a $100 off coupon for a Z10 or Q10 if you want to trade in your PlayBook and your apps will transfer over.

    or

    b) we're focusing on the phones right now because their our flagships, but expect us to talk about PlayBook this fall at BlackBerry Jam ASIA in September.

    or

    c) BlackBerry 10 will be coming after the Q5 comes out

    Or something?
