I think most people won't believe because other than rumours and speculation there is no proof for that date, and unfortunately alot of people base your credibility off post count. That all being said, I do hope your right, will give me a reason to pick up a playbook again

To me people with low post counts are as reliable as people with high post counts. People may contribute to a lot of activity, just as well a load of bull sh!t.
I will remember you if it turns out to be correct, crayaboutplaybook, however, yea to most this is just another rumor among the rest.

No, it's his FRIEND that works in Engineering there, and lots of people still refer to BlackBerry as "RIM".

Old habbits die hard, that being said everyone has prefrences for some its Blackberry for others it is Rim.
for others its Blackberry.

It really doesn't matter what its called it is what it is. Its a tad proposterious to think that this could be true or not based on that

How ironic it would be to get BB10 on my Playbook before I get 10.1 on my Z10 STL 100-1. Still don't have it through AT&T and spending too much time checking for the update. Not interested in non-official updates. Patience is my virtue and hoping the OP is right on with this one.

Once again; "A Friend told me" type post. It doesn't matter if they have 1 post or 10,000. The point of it is "A Friend that works for RIM / BlackBerry". ANYONE that works there will not give that info. Even if they were foolish enough to jeopardize their career for a "Friend", why would you betray their trust and confidence in you by putting their job at risk? I mean REALLY?? They may as well post it themselves while announcing they work for Blackberry. WHAT A GOOD FRIEND YOU ARE. Did you post this information on Facebook and Twitter too?
