Is it possible to take out the android player from OS 2.1 ? It's really making my PlayBook slow and sluggish, especially when opening apps. One thing i noticed after using android apps (Sideloading & BB World) is that there are a lot of trash that accumulates, such as text files and random pictures.

I would like to just have a clean BB OS even if the apps on PlayBook OS are a meager.

dont think you can just talk it out in that OS. I know it wasnt included in lower OS versions though so it might be possible. Might have to ask xsacha on this one

To be honest, a factory reset is the obvious way to go. I hadn't sideloaded any apps for a few months and the PB was pretty smooth but the browser did crash on heavy flash loaded sites. i have since only sideloaded the wonderful origami browser and the PB is a better experience for it.
