Fixed it for you.
So it's ok to promise something in march and tell the customers it's not coming 3 months later.
Mr. Heins would love it if all customers felt like that.
and yeah, how do we know? They may come out with a entirely new Tablet (Fanboy Faith at it's best)!!:p
Just out of curiosity I hit the old 'check for updates' button on the Playbook this morning . .
I think this time next year the stock will be trading below $4 a share. I wouldn't touch the stock right now. Not ever.

Liar!
But notice the ticker says "OUR PLAYBOOK TABLETS" not 'yours or 'mine' or indeed 'anyone else's' Playbook tablets. If he even knew what one was (scene prior to conference call - "so I'm gonna announce BB10 isn't coming to what?") Heins has BB10 on HIS Playbook ;)
The problem is not only that Thor lied about it, he also made liars out of many of us. Later today I have to explain to my niece that BB10 is not coming to her PlayBook, the one I recommended she buys over a Kindle Fire HD
Wish me luck
Fast browser is great. Much better then the PlayBook browser. Very highly recommend. Makes the PlayBook a joy to use.

How old is she? If she's under 16, you're screwed. :)
Ouch!
Lol, she just turned 17.
Quite the contrary, i think. They have effectively moved one step closer to being broken into pieces and taken over. I have a feeling that BB10 phones will continue to lag, and Thorsten will throw in the towel. He's already mandated 2 banks to get a strategic review done. What do you expect those banks to recommend? Continue losing market share! They will show him sum of the parts is smaller than the individual parts, if sold independently. Get ready for Samsung or Google taking over BB. Makes a strategic fit both of them.
I want to put a disclaimer that the above comments are personal views (purely guesses) without any information advantage!
Surprise surprise...NOT!! Seen this coming a long time ago after Heins broke his promise of BB10 coming to our Playbooks for the umpteenth time. My wife got an iPad mini last week and I switched over to Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 back in April as I knew Heins was gonna screw us like this, so this announcement is no big surprise to me.
What does burn my balls over this whole thing is Heins deliberately kept the BB10 to Playbook lie going, so Blackberry could liquidate all their old Playbook stock while stringing us Playbook owners along. Heins should be ashamed of himself but I'm sure this outcome was his intent all along and he couldn't care less. I do know this. I will NEVER buy another product from Blackberry again after them abusing the trust of so many. Blackberry are liars and not to be trusted. RIP Playbook.
You might want to start saving some for her new Kindle Fire HD ;)
My reasons to be cheerful (part one):
1 I only paid 120 for my PlayBook and I figure it doesn't owe me anything
2 I was more upset when I found my new Z10 effectively knocked out the BB Bridge.
3 But I re-commissioned my Bold with a cheap sim and BIS and using that brought my PlayBook back into the Really Useful Drawer
4 A PB3.0 OS would be most welcome and offers another ray of hope
5 A special place at the CrackBerry Hall of Fame awaits the first person that can crack the PlayBook to allow Android apps. And I for one believe it can be done
On another point, if I ever owned any BBRY stock I would only talk about selling it after I sold it. Otherwise aren't you feeding the rumours that reduce the price you'll get?
Yes, I admit it, I don't know what exactly DingleBerry can do, yet I'm not a new user, I'm simply new to CrackBerry forums.
Maybe I can't use Google properly... help me, I'm just curious: https://www.google.it/search?client=...0.331+PlayBook
But if you refer to the photos frequently leaked, well, they were alpha versions or fakes... with dev version you were unable to install apps, at least with the one that we saw on a video...
P.S. RIM won't update PlayBook, Heins generically said that they'll continue supporting it.

Bad luck but not a complete wipe out. You can still use the keyboard by bluetooth to your Bold, for any long emails or posts
I've de-commisioned the Q10 because it doesn't do what I want it to with the Playbook and am using my 9900 till my contract is up. Still, its my fault for mistakenly believing that a product from BLACKBERRY would work with another product from BLACKBERRY in a similar way to my last product from BLACKBERRY did ;)
Like I've already said we were told to 'keep moving', but we were never actually told in which direction :sarcastic:
I love how some people saying that BB10 cant work on the playbook because of RAM issues are the same people trumpeting on about the power of QNX and how efficient it is over Android and iOS. So much for efficiency.
All this does is show how incompetent Blackberry is. They have either deliberately lied about bb10 coming to playbook to boost sales, or they had no idea over what was needed to make it happen, made a big claim and got burnt. either way this is not a company i have any trust or loyalty for especially with their over pricing of their BB10 range now.
The thing that makes all this as bad as it is is there has been no communication. I wouldnt have minded if they had turned around from the begining and said that it's looking difficult to achieve. But they havent. They've been saying all along it will be coming right up until this announcement.
hear that, already have the iphone 5, awesome phone and now grabbing the ipad.
I was waiting for the update. On playbook before trading my bold for a quick 10 but no update so out the door blackberry went and bought iphone and ipad!
People on this forums like to argue differentely and defend it as understandable conclusion... the reality is that next to showing loyal supporters the middle finger is this:
They 'd better leak the OS that they tested on the device, it is the least they could do. WTF?
They could have announced it at BBworld so that the earnings doesn't feel so depressing.
