I tried every possible way to downgrade from new o/s but still theres no way it seems. The only way is to get a replacement for my playbook as its with insurance. So that it will come with stock o/s and I can stop updating that. Can someone help me to brick my playbook?

I'm pretty sure that helping to commit insurance fraud is against the terms of use of the CrackBerry Forums.

If you did get a replacement playbook, as part of the setup process it will update to the most recent OS update

You would need a kiln to brick it.

Yes tried dingleberry and also this other method playbook update server method. Plus tried my own methods renaming files etc. Volunteered to Chris Wade (Dingleberry) to use my playbook for his testting lol Still I couldn't downgrade the o/s. I bought this believing the root access to expand the memory using the usb host method and android market. Are you sure that replacement will install new o/s again?
