Just noticed there's an update to bridge.



Considering the PlayBook is considered to be not even on Chens radar or part of his watch and I guess most at BlackBerry wish it would just disappear,how comes someone, somewhere on BlackBerry payroll is still updating it.

As far as I know it pretty much works as it was designed and there's no extra features. Strange one.

Yeah I get that. However, all current devices run on the same os. There's been no updates or major changes so wondering why firstly bridge needs an update and secondly who left at blackberry are still checking the bridge app for bugs.

I was offered the update, too. I didn't update and it was gone a few hours later.
Judging from the version number, it seems like a typical carrier specific update (the number is the same, except 0 --> 100). I think these 100-updates didn't add anything in the past. Instead, they crippled features like tethering.

BlackBerry always updates Bridge prior to an OS update. Brace yourselves BlackDroid is coming to the PlayBook lol.

any Bridge Update with a .100 is usually a bridge blocking cellular version of the app that prevents you from using the BB Bridge unless you have tethering or hotspot plan.

Riiiight! That will be the day lol.

With a 1ghz duel core and 1GB of RAM in there, I think it might get stuck with Honeycomb!
