Every single time I turn on Wi-Fi the exclamation mark pops up and this thing that says, "123757d..." etc pops up saying "icon-holding". It started in October and refuses to go away no matter how many times I press X or tap on it. Is there any way to get rid of this thing? I've cleared cache in the browser, done restarts, nothing seems to make it go away. I'm assuming its a download from something related to a sideloaded app or Android (?) I'm so used to x'ing it that its become normal operation of the Playbook at this point.

Listing your sideloaded apps will help diagnose if this is a known issue.

Hi, if you look at his thread: http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...aybook-703309/

and look for the post by Sifjar he shows how to use Ghost Commander or Quick App Manager to get rid of annoying Android notifications. I've had to do it a couple of times.
    Good luck!

Quick App Manager worked! Apparently it was a wallpaper download from none other than Crackberry that did it (possibly from the sideloaded Air Browser).
