I just noticed with 2.0 I don't have much space left on my 16GB PB.

Went digging around and it looks like the "Misc" folder in root holds all the android stuff and it seems to be duplicating everything stored on the PB.

Ack, there goes all my space!

It's just a link, not an actual duplication. The PlayBook stores one file, and it takes up on file's worth of space, but shows it in two places.

Thanks for the heads up. Maybe its time to upgrade to a 64GB one.

You can never have too much storage. At release, I went with the 32. Last month I got the 64, half what I paid for the 32 but twice the storage.

On PB, there are 3 folders actual duplication

    playbook:/accounts/1000/shared

    playbook:/accounts/1000/shared/misc/android

    playbook:/sdcard

if you do ls -al you'll see that they are symlinks to eachother

You won't see this if you look from Windows (in wifi share) because Windows doesn't know what symlinks are.

    It's all good

And because of that, if you copy the misc folder, Windows will actually copy EVERYTHING the simlinks link to. Imagine my surprise when a backup that was supposed to be about 400MB turned into a 9GB one!

I hear you with wanting the 64Gb one! I ran across the same thing then eventually figured out that it was sys links.
