Well guess what? Amazon just released their "Amazon Instant Video!" app for the iPad!!!!

WoW, just wow. Even the damn PS3 has an app for that!

    Looks like Android is next...

    Playbook- "soon" when ready.

It's been almost 2 years since Amazon said they would release Amazon Kindle App for the Playbook...soon.

Sad but Funny: 366 days ago Amazon announced they would launch a Kindle app for the BlackBerry PlayBook | CrackBerry.com

    ^Remember that?

Well of course they will launch on iPad first. It's the most popular tablet by a landslide. Android tabs are the next behind them. So they're the obvious next choice. PS3 is also far more popular than the Playbook, and so it is more obvious to release for that. Like it or not, the Playbook isn't popular enough for big companies to target it as a key device for releasing apps on (which in turn stops it from becoming more popular - bit of a chicken and egg situation there...), and so they won't prioritise it.

Although promising an app and not delivering for over 2 years is a little ridiculous...
