I just spoke to somebody at RIM who's working in the update during a reddit meetup and he said the update is scheduled for sometime in the next 2 weeks.

Great as I have lots of issues with the 2.1 Beta and I forgot to make a security copy of my Playbook so I'm not able to do a downgrade...

Next time I should wait to the official release. Hope it won't last more than this 2 weeks as summer is coming and now I will use the PB more than ever.

Re - connection problems (whatever method - wifi, bluetooth) have gone for me since security wiping and reinstalling the beta from scratch.

Try a 3 button restart. New bridge update out, doesn't mean there is a PB update coming but has in the past.

I have found a huge bug in te 2.1 beta. I dont know if it is just specific to mine or if others are experiencing this problem, but videos will not play. The built in youtube app doesnt work, playing videos in browser doesnt work, even the native video app doesnt work! I need help now!

it seems you apply double standards. as a matter of fairness
you may say that to all users demanding from other users
here to stop or not sticking to the point sometimes.

pm the admin suggest to lock the thread for given reasons and
not because you like to explode in the public.

having said that, a forum is an exchange board where people get
dragged away sometimes into chatting an so, I like it...

however in this case it was strange - someone who never contributed
so far demands renaming other peoples business

but maybe he wanted to help all m0r0ns who are not able
to tell what's sold by date...

the sys files for text bridge are in the current 2.1 beta release, but the feature won't work without an update to the Bridge app in the blacberry smartphone. We're just going have to wait until an official release .

Bla1ze tweeted on Friday that internal builds of 2.1 are up to 730, so hopefully we'll see something coming soon!

Please tell me how i don't contribute. I've gone through all of your posts and found all to be demands for an answer or you're insulting another member. Crackberry is a place where people who like Blackberry's go to get help or to discuss a topic on the thread.

Funny thing is that on Kevin's preproduction unit these scene modes were present. I was actually surprised that they didn't make it in any official OS release as of now.
