    I've had a PlayBook for the past year and love it. Recently I've been experiencing an intermittent bug whereby the lock screen doesn't recognize text inputs for the password (so I can't unlock the tablet). Sometimes the keyboard comes up and sometimes not. A reboot fixes the issue. Anyone else experiencing this?

    it's happened to me a few times but not since update,,, did you do a clean install??? i always do a backup/wipe before any upgrade/update on phone or PB...

    Just did an update install (not a clean wipe). Will give it a go next time.

    it's always best to do it the way i mentioned in last post,,, from what i've read, any small bugs/issues are compounded sometimes doing upgrades/updates over old OS's, even if the fix is in the new one...

    I haven't experienced the password field not accept input, but have occasionally have had the keyboard not show up (which is remedied with a diagonal swipe from the bottom left).
