Positive review. Clearly puts PB hardware and features well above the similarly priced Fire and Nook.

Not sure it's that positive. It ends by saying:

"I would like to think that the PlayBook OS 2.0 represents a renaissance for the product. But with so much competition in the marketplace, it’s very difficult for me to remain optimistic about the QNX platform’s prospects.

Is the release of PlayBook OS 2.0 the beginning of a bright new era for RIM, or is it the company’s swan song? Talk Back and Let Me Know."

But, doesn't matter. We got OS2, native email, calendar, etc. Whatever else comes is the icing on the cake.

That's what I forgot to look for - sigh!

I wonder if there's an Android Browser that does Search. I don't think Search is available in the original 3rd party browsers.

Still a more balanced view than multiple CNET hatchet jobs on the Playbook!

How much does Apple pay those "blog network" guys anyway ... lol. .

Major Playbook update ... *yawn* ... let's do article #587 of yet another bag of iPad speculation rather than doing real news - lol .

Today Giz releases their review too, the Verge in a few days. Hope for more positive reviews. With OS2 and at $199 the Playbook is a very compelling device.

Try Simple Browser (native PB) and Dolphin (Android app) to search in the browser. Btw, Dolphin works great and it even includes gesture recognition. This update is simply awesome. Yes, there are flaws and glitches, but still awesome for me.

The only thing missing, for me, are Skype and Pulse. Hopefully they will be there soon :-)
