Since Playbook update yesterday a lot of apps I have downloaded in my Z10 (paid and free) appeared available on the Playbook, I tested one (Cut the Rope) and downloaded and run fine. I happened before the update with Angry Birds Space but it didn't run on the Playbook, right now it did, and there are some that specifically states "not available for your device" even being in my available apps list.

My question: Is this OK? Is an error? when I purchase the app on the Z10 I'm granted to download it in the playbook?

Some apps have different pricing on each device, so there is where I found that a little odd.

I'm pretty sure Cut The Rope and the Angry Birds apps have always been available for the PlayBook.

If the developer list an APP for both Z10 and PLAYBOOK ( on the same appworld entry ) then if you purchase it on a device let's say PB -you can download it on another device - let's say Z10 -as long as you are using the same Blackberry ID

There are lots that go to your playbook through your BlackBerry I'd. I have basketball shot from bb10 that isn't available for playbook, but it runs

Thank you, so it is legal to say so to do it?

Yes, is the fact that I purchased it on the Z10 and I downloaded and run it on the Playbook without paying for it again.

If they put it on your playbook for free then it must be OK. BB can do no wrong. Believe you can have the same apps on several BB devices if they have the same blackberry ID with a limit as I recall of five. Another question would be if the app on the BB10 phone was cascades and the app on the PB was webkit what happens.Or if the Android app on the phone was Android 4 and the one on the playbook was 2.3 .

But there are also cases wherein the apps / games are both available and can be downloaded to PlayBook and Z10 but it will not run on one of the device due to incompatibility with one device's profile..
