youtube app
I've been playing around on the youtube app that came loaded on my playbook. I noticed that any vidoe above 480 was so slow to load, it was not viewable. I thought for a while perhaps it was my internet connection as its not the best. But I tried the exact same video on my laptop and it played without a hitch. So I tried the same video through the browser on the playbook instead of the app, and it played without a hitch.
I wonder if I've got some settings wrong or something. I thought an app would make things more steamline, not worse. Anyone else notice this?

Mine too is slow. Has a mind of its own. I stay well clear of it and use the browser.

Apples to oranges. You're not streaming the same video. The YouTube app defaults to the highest resolution available, while the browser does not. If you have problems streaming in the app, reduce the resolution.

Open YouTube in the browser. I'd also suggest using the mobile version because it looks better over the desktop version on the PB, IMO.

Thanks all, I didn't realize the difference. I thought the resolution was determined by the poster, not the dowload.
